Embossed with scene of slaves building large castle on one side; on the other, a large group of people waving flags crosses a river; a city is seen in the background. These are labelled with appropriate Hebrew engraved inscriptions: "From slavery to freedom." The two ends bear embossed flowers. W: 140mm. Marked on end.
summary
The wheelbarrow alludes to the mortar, with which the Israelites cemented the bricks during their enslavement in Egypt. At the Seder, this is represented by the Haroset which would be displayed on the Seder plate in this special vessel.
